Twin Shower! Celebrating our girls.

The church, along with my Mom, hosted a lovely baby shower for us and our twin girls!  It was truly wonderful and we felt very blessed to be surrounded by so many supportive family and friends.  I created these layouts for the church album, I will likely do another set later for our family album.

I really enjoyed playing with this sketch, but tried to limit the embellishment so that it wouldn't be too bulky.  Here's the Let's Scrap sketch that I used:

6th and 7th Months of My Twin Pregnancy!

I've finally had time to get caught up on my Twin Pregnancy Album with these two latest layouts.  They are 8x8s instead of my usual 12x12s.

I purposely kept these layouts simple, so the focus is where it should be...on the photos!

I primarily used the right side, shifting things around as needed.  I love the simplicity of this sketch, very easily adaptable!

Poking Fun

Another old set of pictures of my daughter.  In these, she's badgering our rat terrier, Stryder, while he patiently tolerates her.

I purposely kept this layout simple, just a little pattern paper and a 3 layered flower.  The pictures are a little dark and I used lighter papers to make the white and pink in the photos pop.

Riding High...

I found these adorable pictures of my now 6 year old daughter when she was 13 months old and just had to scrap them.

5 Months - Baby Names

This layout is about my 5th month experience with the twins' movements and the names that we considered and the ones we ended up choosing:

4 Months and TWO Girls!

This layout is of my 4 month picture with the cravings I've experienced and the ultrasounds that showed us we are expecting two girls!!

I had so much fun with this layout, particularly finding a way to make the two pages coordinate even though they have different patterned papers.  The hardest part was stitching through 4 layers of paper.

First Trimester and 12 Week Ultrasound

This two page layout is of my first trimester experiences and the 12 week ultrasound of the twins.

The picture is a tad blurry because I took it inside in the evening (bad lighting).

My favorite part of this layout is doing the butterfly trails with pen stitching.  I hand made the background shape for both sides because I did not have a stencil that size.
