Two New Layouts for Chloe's Album!

I used the same Let's Scrap sketch for both of these pages and took very different takes on them!

This first one is of Chloe (a few months before she turned two) swinging on the new swingset we'd gotten for her and Alex.  She was in absolute heaven and would just stare up into the sky and seemed to be pretending to fly.  I did some hand stitching around the title and added flags on the right side.

This one is from Russ and I's wedding (same year as the one above).  Chloe was too little to be our flower girl, so she did her best to get as much attention as possible otherwise.  She was adorable.  I'm not terribly thrilled how this one came out, it looked different in my head and just would not come together.  Once I put the stickers on, I was (for lack of a better word) "stuck" with it, but I'm letting it go.  She loves it.

Two New Layouts for Alex's Album

I decided to catch up on some old photos that I wanted to include in Alex's album, so I got to work on these two layouts.  I've tried to keep them simple and clean (more masculine), but still child-focused.  I used two Let's Scrap sketches for inspiration.

The Final Two Layouts for My Pregnancy Album

I am very excited to finish this album and especially proud that I completed it while the girls are still babies!  I began this album when I first found out I was pregnant and didn't yet know the genders (though I knew I was having twins).  I really expected a boy and a girl, so I had gone with a gender neutral DCVW paper pack called "The Citrus Stack."  I have really enjoyed the bright, happy colors in these pages.

Here is the layout that I completed about the family maternity shoot we did at 8 months:

This is the final layout for the album, featuring my beautiful girls and a short description of their birth:

After taking this picture, I added a small index card behind the matted photo with hidden journaling about the c-section (not happy memories, but memories none the less).

The butterfly is a handmade, folded design from a tutorial I found on Let's Scrap.  LOVE it!

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to try to get caught up on 2012's album or if I will start on the twins' individual "1st Year" albums.  Perhaps a mixture of both.
